Prabhas has become one of the biggest superstars in Indian cinema, earning massive popularity through blockbuster films such as Baahubali, Saaho, Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD. His extraordinary screen presence, powerful action sequences and larger-than-life characters have made him a favourite among audiences across India and overseas.
Fans are now eagerly searching for the Prabhas Upcoming Movies List to discover which films the actor is preparing next.
From intense action thrillers to historical dramas and futuristic science-fiction adventures, Prabhas has several ambitious projects in development.
His confirmed upcoming lineup includes Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and Fauzi, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Meanwhile, the sequels to Kalki 2898 AD and Salaar are progressing through different stages of development.
Each project promises a different cinematic experience.
This NewzViral guide explores the latest Prabhas Upcoming Movies List, including movie titles, directors, cast, story expectations, production updates, release schedules and frequently asked questions.
Prabhas Upcoming Movies List: Quick Overview
| Movie Name | Director | Genre | Current Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spirit | Sandeep Reddy Vanga | Action, Crime, Drama | Filming underway |
| Fauzi | Hanu Raghavapudi | Historical Action Drama | Under production; release postponed |
| Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 | Nag Ashwin | Sci-Fi, Mythology, Action | Regular filming planned |
| Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam | Prashanth Neel | Action, Thriller | Pre-production reported |
These are the four major projects generating the strongest interest among Prabhas fans.
Release schedules can change depending on production progress, visual effects and distribution decisions.
1. Spirit — Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga
Spirit is one of the most anticipated movies in Prabhas’ upcoming lineup.
The film brings together Prabhas and filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga for their first major collaboration.
Vanga previously directed Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh and Animal, establishing a filmmaking style known for emotionally intense characters, dark themes and confrontational storytelling.
With Spirit, he enters a new action-crime world led by Prabhas.
Spirit Movie Cast
The announced cast includes:
- Prabhas
- Triptii Dimri
- Vivek Oberoi
- Aishwarya Desai
Additional cast details may be announced as production continues.
What Is Spirit About?
The film is expected to feature Prabhas as a powerful police officer.
Rather than following the traditional formula of a simple hero-versus-villain story, Spirit is being developed as a gritty action drama.
The complete storyline remains under wraps.
However, the creative team’s statements and promotional information suggest a story involving law enforcement, violent conflict and emotionally complicated characters.
Fans can expect a more intense performance from Prabhas than in some of his earlier mainstream films.
Prabhas’ Character in Spirit
A police-officer role offers Prabhas opportunities to explore a different kind of screen hero.
His character may need to balance:
- Professional duty
- Personal conflicts
- Dangerous criminals
- Moral decisions
- Emotional pressure
- Physical confrontations
The most interesting question is how Sandeep Reddy Vanga will combine Prabhas’ established action-star image with his preference for psychologically complex storytelling.
Spirit Release Date
The makers previously announced March 5 as the theatrical release date.
Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the production team have reaffirmed this plan, although subsequent media reports have raised fresh speculation about possible scheduling changes.
Until another official announcement is made, March 5 remains the announced date, subject to change.
Why Spirit Is Highly Anticipated
The biggest reasons include:
- First collaboration between Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga
- A powerful police-officer character
- Triptii Dimri as the female lead
- Dark action-drama themes
- Large-scale production
- High audience expectations
For fans who enjoy intense action films, Spirit could become one of the most interesting Prabhas projects.
2. Fauzi — Prabhas and Hanu Raghavapudi
Another major entry in the Prabhas Upcoming Movies List is Fauzi.
Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the movie takes Prabhas into a historical action-drama setting.
Hanu Raghavapudi is especially recognised for films such as Sita Ramam, which combined romance, period storytelling and strong emotional drama.
His collaboration with Prabhas is therefore particularly exciting.
Unlike a futuristic spectacle or modern crime thriller, Fauzi explores a world influenced by India’s colonial history.
Fauzi Movie Cast
The announced cast includes:
- Prabhas
- Imanvi
- Anupam Kher
- Mithun Chakraborty
- Jaya Prada
The film features a combination of established performers and newer talent.
What Is Fauzi About?
The title itself suggests a story connected with a soldier.
Official promotional material positions the project as a tale of bravery inspired by lesser-known chapters of history.
The movie is expected to explore themes such as:
- Patriotism
- Courage
- Sacrifice
- Loyalty
- Historical conflict
- Personal relationships
- Military life
The colonial-era background could create opportunities for dramatic battle sequences and emotional storytelling.
However, the complete plot has not yet been officially revealed.
Prabhas’ Look in Fauzi
The first-look promotional material generated considerable interest.
Prabhas appeared in a rugged and intense style, suggesting a character shaped by conflict and hardship.
This look is different from his futuristic character in Kalki 2898 AD and his criminal-world persona in Salaar.
Physical transformations have become an important part of Prabhas’ career.
With Fauzi, audiences may see another distinct screen identity.
Fauzi Release Date Update
Fauzi was previously scheduled for December 3, but the makers subsequently confirmed a postponement.
Producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers explained that additional production time was needed.
A new theatrical release date has not yet been officially locked.
Some entertainment reports have suggested a later March window, but this should not be considered confirmed until the production company formally announces it.
Why Fauzi Could Be Special
The film combines two very different strengths.
Prabhas brings large-scale screen presence and action appeal.
Hanu Raghavapudi brings experience in romantic, emotional and period storytelling.
If both elements are balanced successfully, Fauzi could deliver a historical drama with both spectacle and emotional depth.
3. Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 — The Sci-Fi Saga Continues
Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 is one of the most ambitious projects among Prabhas’ future movies.
The first film introduced audiences to a futuristic universe inspired by Hindu mythology.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD brought together science fiction, advanced technology, mythology and enormous action sequences.
Prabhas appeared as Bhairava, while the film also explored his connection with Karna from the Mahabharata.
The story’s ending created major expectations for a sequel.
Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 Cast
The returning franchise includes important characters played by:
- Prabhas
- Amitabh Bachchan
- Kamal Haasan
Further casting and character announcements should be followed through official updates.
What Could Kalki Part 2 Be About?
The sequel is expected to continue the unfinished conflicts from the first movie.
Several major storylines remain open.
These include:
- Bhairava’s identity
- The significance of Karna
- Ashwatthama’s mission
- The future of the unborn Kalki
- The power of Supreme Yaskin
- The battle between opposing forces
The first film revealed only part of its larger mythology-inspired world.
The sequel has an opportunity to expand that universe significantly.
Prabhas as Bhairava and Karna
One of the most discussed aspects of the first film was the connection between Bhairava and Karna.
This revelation created enormous excitement because it linked the futuristic storyline to the Mahabharata.
Fans will be interested in discovering how this connection develops.
Could Bhairava become more aware of his identity?
Will his relationships with other characters change?
How will this affect the central conflict?
These questions remain unanswered and form part of the anticipation surrounding the sequel.
Kalki Part 2 Production Update
Director Nag Ashwin has said that regular filming is planned to move forward in October, with production expected to continue into the following year.
That represents meaningful progress for the project.
However, beginning regular filming does not establish a theatrical release date.
The extensive visual effects associated with the Kalki universe may also require considerable post-production time.
Why Kalki Part 2 Is Important
The first film introduced a distinctive cinematic universe.
The sequel must build on that foundation rather than simply repeat the spectacle.
Audiences will expect:
- Larger action sequences
- Expanded mythology
- More character development
- Improved world-building
- Stronger emotional conflicts
- A satisfying continuation of the story
Among Prabhas’ future projects, Kalki Part 2 may be the most ambitious in terms of visual scale.
4. Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam
Salaar Part 2: Shouryaanga Parvam is another highly anticipated project in the Prabhas Upcoming Movies List.
The sequel is expected to continue the story of Deva and Varadha.
The first installment, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, introduced the fictional world of Khansaar, where power struggles, political rivalry and violent conflicts shape the lives of its rulers.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film placed Prabhas in a dark action universe.
Its sequel promises to revisit unresolved conflicts.
Salaar Part 2 Cast
Major characters associated with the franchise include:
- Prabhas as Deva
- Prithviraj Sukumaran as Varadha
- Shruti Haasan as Aadhya
- Jagapathi Babu as Raja Mannar
The complete returning cast for the sequel has not yet been formally detailed.
What Is Salaar Part 2 About?
The first movie established a complicated relationship between Deva and Varadha.
Their friendship sits at the centre of Khansaar’s political conflict.
The sequel is expected to reveal more about:
- Deva’s past
- The Shouryaanga clan
- Khansaar’s ruling families
- Betrayals
- Old alliances
- Rival factions
- The struggle for control
The most important conflict may not simply be between heroes and villains.
It could involve former friends confronting different ideas of loyalty and power.
Why Fans Want Salaar 2
The first film ended with significant unanswered questions.
Fans want to understand Deva’s complete history and his connection to Khansaar.
Prashanth Neel’s action style also remains a major attraction.
His films are known for:
- Dark cinematography
- Intense hero introductions
- Powerful background music
- Large-scale action
- Complex criminal and political worlds
The sequel could develop those elements further.
Salaar Part 2 Release Date
The sequel has been reported to be progressing through pre-production, with director Prashanth Neel and producer Vijay Kiragandur working on planning and scheduling.
However, a reliable, final theatrical release date has not been officially established.
Fans should treat dates circulating on unofficial movie-listing websites cautiously.
Which Prabhas Movie Will Release Next?
This is one of the biggest questions for fans.
Spirit has an announced March 5 release plan, while Fauzi was postponed from its earlier schedule and is awaiting a newly confirmed date.
Because the films’ schedules could overlap or change, the next release should not be declared definitively until the makers settle their final theatrical plans.
The two projects are both active, but their release order is not completely certain.
Prabhas Upcoming Movies by Genre
Different movies in Prabhas’ lineup target different audiences.
| Movie | Main Attraction |
|---|---|
| Spirit | Dark police action thriller |
| Fauzi | Historical action and emotional drama |
| Kalki Part 2 | Futuristic mythology and science fiction |
| Salaar Part 2 | Gangster-style action and political conflict |
This variety is one of the strongest features of his upcoming lineup.
Rather than playing similar characters repeatedly, Prabhas is exploring different cinematic worlds.
Why Prabhas Upcoming Movies Are Highly Anticipated
1. Massive Pan-India Popularity
Prabhas gained international recognition through the Baahubali films.
His popularity now extends across regional film industries and overseas markets.
2. Big-Budget Filmmaking
His recent projects are known for ambitious production design, extensive action and large-scale visual effects.
3. Major Directors
His future lineup includes:
- Sandeep Reddy Vanga
- Hanu Raghavapudi
- Nag Ashwin
- Prashanth Neel
Each filmmaker offers a distinct storytelling style.
4. Different Characters
Prabhas is expected to portray characters ranging from a police officer to a historical soldier and futuristic warrior.
5. Franchise Popularity
The success and unresolved stories of Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD have created strong demand for sequels.
Prabhas’ Career: From Telugu Cinema to Pan-India Superstar
Before becoming a nationwide star, Prabhas established himself in Telugu cinema with films such as:
- Varsham
- Chatrapathi
- Darling
- Mr. Perfect
- Mirchi
His career changed dramatically with Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
Director S. S. Rajamouli transformed Prabhas into a widely recognised action and fantasy star.
The films’ enormous scale and commercial success introduced him to audiences who had not previously followed Telugu cinema.
Later movies such as Saaho, Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD continued his pan-India journey.
Today, Prabhas is associated with ambitious films designed for multiple language markets.
Prabhas’ Most Popular Movies
Before exploring his upcoming projects, fans may want to revisit some of his established films.
Baahubali: The Beginning
A historical fantasy-action film that introduced audiences to Mahishmati and its royal conflicts.
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion
The sequel provided answers to major mysteries from the original film and became one of Indian cinema’s biggest commercial successes.
Saaho
A high-budget action thriller featuring elaborate stunts and international-style production.
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire
A violent action drama exploring friendship, loyalty and political power inside Khansaar.
Kalki 2898 AD
A science-fiction spectacle mixing mythology with a dystopian future.
The Raja Saab
A fantasy-horror comedy that showed another side of Prabhas’ screen image.
These movies highlight his transition from romantic and family-oriented roles toward large-scale action and fantasy cinema.
Is The Raja Saab Still an Upcoming Movie?
No.
The Raja Saab has already completed its theatrical release.
It should therefore be placed in Prabhas’ released filmography rather than included among his upcoming theatrical projects.
This distinction is important because some older movie-listing pages continue displaying outdated release schedules.
Prabhas Upcoming Movies and OTT Release
Another common question concerns digital streaming.
Major Prabhas films usually attract interest from OTT platforms because of their large audience base.
However, a theatrical release announcement does not automatically confirm the streaming partner.
For Spirit, Fauzi, Kalki Part 2 and Salaar Part 2, viewers should wait for official OTT announcements rather than trusting speculative platform lists.
Streaming details can vary by language and territory.
Which Prabhas Upcoming Movie Could Be the Biggest Hit?
Predicting box-office success before release is difficult.
Each film has different strengths.
Spirit
Strong interest in Prabhas’ collaboration with Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Fauzi
Historical storytelling combined with Prabhas’ mass appeal.
Kalki Part 2
The advantage of an established sci-fi universe with unresolved storylines.
Salaar Part 2
A loyal audience following the world of Khansaar and the relationship between Deva and Varadha.
Actual box-office performance will depend on storytelling, production quality, marketing, competition and audience response.
A large budget or famous actor does not guarantee success.
What Fans Should Expect From Prabhas’ Future Career
Prabhas is currently working with filmmakers whose styles are very different from one another.
That could help expand his acting range.
The most interesting part of his future lineup is the contrast between the characters.
In Spirit, he enters a contemporary police-action world.
In Fauzi, he moves into historical drama.
In Kalki Part 2, he returns to a futuristic mythology-inspired universe.
In Salaar Part 2, he continues a dark and violent political conflict.
If these movies succeed creatively, they could strengthen Prabhas’ position as one of India’s leading pan-India stars.
Final Thoughts
The Prabhas Upcoming Movies List includes some of the most ambitious projects currently associated with Indian commercial cinema.
Spirit brings Prabhas together with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for an intense police-action drama.
Fauzi teams him with Hanu Raghavapudi for a historical story involving courage, sacrifice and military conflict.

Each film offers something different.
For action lovers, Spirit and Salaar Part 2 are especially interesting.
For historical-drama fans, Fauzi could be the standout project.
